What preparation involved
For every organization, preparation under Qmentum International includes a self-assessment against the standards, implementing the Required Organizational Practices (patient identification, medication reconciliation, infection control, incident management), staff training and patient engagement. The local team supported this process in Georgian.
- On-site staff training by a local adviser.
- A patient council that regularly reviews patient feedback.
- Working visits by Accreditation Canada advisers.
- Georgian-language information materials for patients.
Outcome
In February 2025 the organization achieved Accreditation Canada Platinum accreditation and is listed in Accreditation Canada’s international register together with eight other Georgian organizations. Register
