Dr Giorgi Pkhakadze: This is happening in the country where 50 people die of COVID daily

Public health expert Prof Giorgi Pkhakadze has responded to information saying that AstraZeneca shots have been written off in Georgia.

''This is happening in the country where, as official sources say, 50 people die of COVID daily!

Unprofessionalism kills,'' Dr Giorgi Pkhakadze said in his social media post.

NCDC head Dr Amiran Gamkrelidze declared earlier that around 17,000 AstraZeneca shots were written off as they remained unused.
