Dr Giorgi Pkhakadze: Difficult times begins ... I am leaving Georgia

Public health expert Professor Giorgi Pkhakadze says that a strong wave of coronavirus is starting in Eastern European countries. According to him, the situation is worse in countries where vaccination coverage is low.

"Listen to me, friends. The difficult times begins in Eastern Europe. A catastrophe is happening in Romania at the moment. You do not know what happens in countries where they are not vaccinated. Everyone is in danger.

The worst situation is in Ukraine and Russia.

We will have the most brutal winter. I told you, warned you that this new variant is Delta's grandchild. I am leaving Georgia. It is very tiring to see that country is refusing to prepare for the next wave of the virus despite of all warnings" Dr Pkhakadze said.
